Andreval was revived by the Spirits, yet the world remained unchanged, static. This reborn world drew the gaze of the Gods and deities. Upon their arrival in Andreval, they found themselves powerless, sparking tension with the spirits. The Gods coveted the power held by the Spirits, leading them to forge beings that could bestow upon them this power: Mortals.
The deities' initial attempts to manifest their power on Andreval ended disastrously resulting in the creation of what became known collectively as the Corrupted Lesser Species: Orcs, Goblins, and Trolls. Gods had no control over them; indeed, nothing did. Consequently, Gods exiled their first creations, the Lesser Species, to the northern continent known as the Rough, where they remained trapped.
Their second attempt, however, was successful. First, they created the Dragon; powerful beings that were part Mortal, part spirit, and part god, these large creatures possessed magical abilities and incredible wisdom. Second came the Dwarves, small creatures no taller than three feet, often burrowing and mining the earth and cliffs to create their homes. Third were the Elves, a tall and slender race exceeding seven feet in height, endowed with brilliant minds but whose delicate structure resulted in a surprisingly short lifespan.
And ultimately, their most successful creation: Humans. Designed for diversity, some possessed the intelligence of Elves while others had the strength of Dwarves. They were the ideal amalgamation of all three preceding species, allowing them to flourish in every corner of Talrak and become the dominant race.
With the emergence of the Mortal races, the world witnessed change anew as Mortal introduced their own innovations and ideas. A symbiotic relationship began to develop between the mortals and nature, each depending on the other for survival. As a result, the bond between Spirits and the Gods ] also strengthened, enabling the world to thrive.
Humans and nature are linked, whether we acknowledge it or not. Our very survival hinges on the natural world bestowed upon us by the great Spirits. It is this profound connection that forever binds us to the Spirits for our ongoing existence!Spriten preacher
