Kals dan ayen raakan

The Fehadlan army is comprised of 33 individual regiments each with thier own unique speciallisations. Each regiment will have a different formation structure depending on its type for exmple a heavy regiment will have a very different squad formation than a support regiment. A regiment at full strength will have 4,248 men and women at arms including all the support staff like blacksmiths and cooks, who like the soldiers, are all trained how to fight.
The Strength of a Fehadlan regiment should never be underestimated recuruits! While many of them are cooks or clerks they all know how to fight and will do so till death.

    Types of regiment:

There are nine unit types with each regiment usually contianing one or two, split down into battalions. For example a regiment can have a light battalion and and a power battalion.

    Light:

Light battalions are usually archers and scouts, they are moblile units prized for their ability to quickly engage in combat and leave again.

    Medium:

Medium battalions are foot soldiers equipped to fight a wide varity of forces, medium battalions are trained in both close quarters combat and ranged leading to them being extremly versitle.

    Heavy:

Heavy battlions are the muscle in the Fehadlan army, equiped with large shields they stand fast as enermy upon enermy try to break through their impassable line.

    Machinist:

Machinist battalions are the operators and owners of large seige engines and weapons of war, like balistae and catapults, they are also the engineers of the army.

    Support:

A support battalion is simply an expanded aid division with sqauds being artisans and smiths able to resupply and refit a regiment on the move. However, they are noticeably more combat trained than regular aid divisions.

    Amphibious:

Amphibious battalions serve on the navy's ships as marines and follow the same structure as a medium battalion just well equpied for the life at sea rather than on land.

    Guard:

Guard battalions once again follow the medium structure but act as additional guards/watch members to cities and provide backup to other regiments.

    Power:

Power battalions are full of mages and sorcerers ready to deal damage to the enermy direcly or to buff and protect allies with thier spells.

    Advanced:

Advanced battalions are the best of best with no structure they often defend the monarch and fulfill thier personal wishes, with a history reaching as far back as the original 500 they are to be revered and feared.

    Conclusion:

Overall, each regiment of the army has two battalions with a specialisation (light, guard, etc), a conscript tencent, a cavellry division, and aid divisions for both the fighting regiment and the tencent. All there to ensure that the regiment is ready and able to fight and defend Fehadla whenever the call comes.
