Genetics and Reproduction
They have complex courtship rituals, often involving the male and female clasping each other's pinchers, arch their tails, and do a circular 'dance. If the male doesn't perform well, the female may eat him.
The female will give birth to live young, typically about a dozen or so per brood. The young will ride on their mother's back until they can hunt and defend themselves on their own.

These nocturnal creatures are native to warm forests, plains, caves, and deserts.
