Pocket Dimensions
Geography
The geography of a pocket dimension varies wildly depending on whether it is natural or man made. Natural pocket dimensions often resemble a natural landscape, though it doesn't always match the landscape that's outside the portal. Man made pocket dimensions are often more 'manicured', and can include gardens, buildings, and sometimes entire towns.
The size of the pocket dimension can also vary greatly, with some of the natural ones being massive. Artificial ones tend to be much smaller, with and average size being around the size of a room, though a few have been made that can hold an entire town. This tends to be because pocket dimensions require a lot of energy to keep from collapsing on itself, and the bigger ones require a lot more energy.
Entrances to these pocket dimensions vary just as much as the contents of said pocket dimension. Those that are natural are often found in caves, at the base of trees, within ponds, etc. Man made ones often have their entrances tied to things such as doors, bags, etc. While most natural ones have their entrances in fixed locations, most man made ones are attached to items, and are easily transported.
Fauna & Flora
In natural pocket dimensions, they are often inhabited by creatures from outside the dimension but accidentally wandered through the portal. In some pocket dimensions, they have been isolated for so long that they contain entirely new species related to those outside the portal. There have also been reports of creatures unlike anything reported outside these pocket dimensions.
In man made pocket dimensions they are often stocked with a wide variety of creatures, from pets, livestock, to even exotic beasts.
Tourism
While the majority of pocket dimensions are either undiscovered (natural), or privately owned (man-made), some have set up as tourist attractions for the rich.
