Lindworm, General
These beasts are considered to be greedy and gluttonous, with their hoards being full of both bones and treasure.
Basic Information
Anatomy
These large, wingless dragonoids aren't as diverse as other dragonoid families, but still have several species. They have a long, serpentine body and tail, and two front limbs ending in sharp talons. Their heads are very similar to @True Dragons.

Capable of laying dormant for many years.

Similarly to True Dragons, lindworms have a breath weapon.

Some believe that Lindworms are magical beasts that are capable of casting curses even after death.

Genetics and Reproduction
Lindworms breed only once every several years to a decade, with an average of six eggs per clutch. Typically the strongest hatchling eats its siblings shortly after hatching.
Ecology and Habitats
These territorial creatures are found in cold hills, mountains, lakes, and swamps. They used to be much more wide spread, but many folk have hunted them to near extinction due to their tendency to go man eater. Now most populations are found deep in the wilderness.
Dietary Needs and Habits
These carnivores eat a wide variety of creatures, but seem to love the taste of goats and Kinfolk. Typically they will gorge themselves before returning to their dens to fall into a deep sleep.
