Saturnino is a ghoul, subsisting off of blood given to him by Florian and the other members of the Gangrel family. He is uniquely suited to the life in that he lacks the deep emotional connection this usually inspires but is still dependent upon them. If he stops taking blood, he would shrivel up and die in short order.
Fiona states that he is her boyfriend, but nobody really understands their match—Saturnino is not particularly handsome, or talented, or even friendly. He tends to act in a self-absorbed manner and complains a great deal.
