Massimo, or “Max,” is one of the waitstaff at a pub in Paloma. He is a suspicious and fearful sort; he specifically chose to settle in Paloma because as he puts it, “The vampires cast a big shadow.” However, he claims that recent events involving a stag-headed man roaming the woods have made it now unsafe to stay. He’s working on finishing his bartending certification on the promise of a job in the city of Granada, where he’d have the protection of a full court. His mien has black, compound eyes and antenna that fold back into his hair, with a distinctively yellow sheen to his exaggerated, angular features. His fingertips end in hard, chitinous little claws. His mask is that of an unremarkable but pleasant young man of Castillian ancestry, with some blonde highlights in his hair.
