Jacinto

Jacinto is in his senior year of high school equivalency at St. Jerome’s. Like many of the boys that go unadopted well into adolescence, he appears to have emotional or mental health issues. He is physically sound, and while perhaps photogenic, can be disconcerting to interact with, possessed of unusually still body language and a tendency to not make eye contact with others. He wears glasses and is usually seen only in his school uniform. He seems to have difficulty interpreting the emotional states of others and is largely indifferent to almost everything except the rules. He makes excellent marks in all his classes and is remarkably intelligent despite his social shortcomings.   Jacinto has few friends, apart from Massimo, and sleeps in a secreted room in the lower levels of the monastery. He is planning on going away to university to study education administration, so that he can return one day to teach and eventually allow Perfecto to retire.
