Aradia Tessitore
Templar Aradia Tessitore
Vampire, Gangrel Clan
A very fit young woman perhaps in her early twenties, Aradia has dark brown hair and a somewhat warm tone to her skin that indicates she was perhaps quite tan prior to the Embrace. She usually wears jeans, boots and men’s shirts, often with a silver pendant that resembles a two-headed axe. She tends to be a bit grim and quiet by nature, though is an excellent shot with a rifle and an impressive boxer and knife-fighter.
Unlike her adopted family, Florian and Jerren, Aradia wasn’t born to nobility, but rather the working class. She reads and writes well enough and has some general education, but still prefers simple comforts over the grandiose. She has been very interested in the women’s rights movement and feminism and identifies as a lesbian. She has a strong distaste for the Catholic church but has a grudging respect for Perfecto and his work.
If asked about her past, Aradia is willing to talk about her life and what led her to becoming a vampire. Her sister was raped by their local priest and impregnated—using poison, they managed to abort it, but her sister was never the same. In a fit of rage, Aradia went to him alone and murdered him. She fled quickly, beginning a killing spree of abusive priests and monks all over Northern Italy before Florian found her and recognized that her burning desire for death was actually a desire for justice, misled. Respecting her fury and her willpower, he took her to provide Jerren with a companion.
