The Mysti-Helpers League
The Mysti-Helpers League is a group of nine friends who live in the same neighborhood of Clermont Ridge and have known each other way before they all moved to the same town. Their lives were all changed by Baxter. And now all nine and Baxter share a double life. They too believe in magic and have helped Nicholas with Christmas Preparations.
While their history is not well-known, it appears they met at college or had known each other in childhood. Which one is unknown. The one thing that was known was that one of them had been excommunicated prior to all of them coming into Clermont Ridge.
Then Mitchell came. He asked for help.
Once Mitchell has been set free of dark magic, He and eight others finally apologize to each other. They make up. They become friends again. And their lives are much happier. Each of them are normal adults and citizens of society. They all get jobs, have homes, and enjoy social events.
While Mitchell helped Santa after being fixed, the others never knew about magic. And while the others don't know, they come to find out magic and the Guardians exists when the Valley is attacked by those against The Light Side. All nine feel deeply upset and angry. They say yes. Mitchell and his friends are brought to Christmastide Valley/ the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom to help. However, this violates Aoreliaus Eryn Avalich but the Guardians all say it doesn't matter as they okay this.
And these people are now caught up in a duality. The duality of secrets and the immortals and being humans in the mortal world.
Whenever Santa or the mystical world needs them, Baxter summons them with little warning or explanation. And the nine answer each time. They arrive, learn what happened and immediately ask to be put to work. These people have proven, time and time again, that they are more than willing to come and help. They trust Baxter, the Guardians, and make each day a little brighter for all mortals. And without magic in the world, Santa and the elves appreciate help in whatever way they can.
They have built a life where magic and their mortal lives exist side-by-side. And in the end, all nine carry this sacred duty to live together within two worlds. Their human world cannot know about them helping the other. And the other reminds them to keep theirs a secret until both meet again.
