Thankful Harvest

At the end of each harvest season, the farmers (the planters of crops) and ranchers (raisers of animal life) gather to thank all deities for the blessings they've bestowed upon the mortals that season. Local congregations of Children of the Wheel and Wicca covens also gather to thank all for new family members, good things, and for the blessings they've received.

The Fellowship Ritual

When all is done and the town comes together, THE LEADER OF THE LOCAL FLOCK (not sure of actual title) greets all in the Nemeta House by saying, "Blessed be, Brothers and Sisters of Ancient Power." They respond back the same way.   ""Let us pray to all.   Deities, we ask that you bless us as we humbly offer our thanks for the good things in our lives, the bountiful harvest, the new life on farms, and many more blessings. We wish to honor you in life as you have freely given to us. And in the name of all, hope."   Another citizen comes up.   "I know we shall enjoy our feast tonight but let us recite the ancient vow to magic and to those within Daekiver Turrelon and beyond. "   (All) For we speak this most ancient of vows in the name of Ancient Power and the Deities in Daekiver Turrelon and beyond.   We live one life. We have a finite amount of time. But we do our best to spread hope and kindness to all. We welcome those who feel unwelcomed. We love those who are unloved. We bring peace to the ones who haven't felt peace. We are mortal. We are here. But we cry out to the gods that you are real. We believe in love. We believe in hope. We believe in uniting against those who wish to spread Darkness. We speak but more importantly we spread the goodness and life to all who cross our path.   And the people say Light and Life to the world!   May goodness reign forevermore! May Darkness go far away!"   The citizen sits down.   The Leader comes back up.   "Now, we light the offering fire. May those who has something to offer do so now."   One by one, people offer up things. Maybe not all. But enough to find favor in all deities.   "Flock, go out and live the sacred vow. It is your duty. It is your most sacred obligation. Remember that hope can be found in each of us. Remember that believing is seeing."   The people grow silent. Some go out. Some stay.

Wiccan Ritual

Similar but this one is led by the High Priestess or Priest of the local Wicca Coven and is smaller in attendance.
