Protection Details of Christmastide Mystical Kingdom

The Department of Security is the only Department that focuses on the security of the Valley/Kingdom and The Clauses. This department has a tough job. Along with the forces of Wintertide, they protect the Kingdom and the Valley and the Claus Couple. And sometimes their work is invisible. In fact, some say the best protective forces are invisible. These are not known, even to Santa sometimes, until after or maybe never. But the times the protective details stop things form happening matter more than anyone knows.

Christmastown Protection Regiment

Often called Santa's Valley Security Force, this dedicated squad protects the Kingdom from towers around the outer perimeter. Their job is to ensure no curious outsiders AKA mortal explorers stumble upon Santa's Realm. They ensure magical secrets aren't taken out of the safety of the Kingdom. Thanks to their work behind the scenes and their vigilance, the Valley/Kingdom remains undiscovered and unseen by those who don't believe in Christmas Spirit as children do.   If they had a group codename, it would be Holly Sentinels. Or maybe Toyland Sentinels.

S-1 Security

Within the Valley/Kingdom, certain (AKA a handful of) elves watch over the Believer-Class Sleighs (AKA every version of the S-1 Delivery Vehicle) to ensure no wrong hands take them or use them and reindeer for nefarious purposes.   Their nickname is Santa's Sleigh Guard. A group codename would potentially be Pine Security. Or Rosebud Unit.

Claus Protective Detail (CPD)

These elves personally ensure Santa, and later with Mrs. Claus, are safe when leaving the safety of the Kingdom. Outside of the kingdom, these two are more likely to be attacked and kidnapped. Besides vacationing, these two receive protection on all official visits/business throughout the world.   Two Turtle Doves Division is the group codename.

Flyers Division

Santa's S-1 A-Team is the only team to pull Believer-Class Sleighs but are able to team up with the previously-mentioned squad to allow these deer to guide the Claus-Class Sleighs outside of Christmas Eve. Of course, they also pull the Believer-Class Sleighs whenever outside of Christmas Eve as well.   The assignments they're usually on also include Santa Claus. These deer are the only deer who also protect Santa and should also be protected.   Other deer are used to haul cargo sleighs but the elves with them swear to prevent them being kidnapped and are usually able to defend themselves with some help from certain people. But they are not these special deer and part of Santa's inner circle of family and friends.   The group nickname is Holly Squad. The codename is Nine Maids a Milking Division.

Big Red and S-1 Christmas Eve Protective Forces

This division is used exclusively on Christmas Eve to protect the Sack, S-1, Santa (known as Big Red while during the ride), and the reindeer. After takeoff, this unit is especially protecting the whole Christmas Eve Ride.   The nickname is often termed as Big Red S-1 Division. The codename is Partridge in a Pear Tree Division.

E.E.L.F.S.

The E.E.L.F.S., better known as the Elfin Extraction and Location Tracker for Santa Division, is there to make sure Santa doesn't fall into mortals hands or crash somewhere (like two incidents that stain their reputation). The first was OPERATION: Charlie Joy Ode and second was OPERATION: Buddy New York. Both are two incidents that they hate talking about.   Another name they've used in the past is Elves Liberating Father Christmas Squad (E.L.F.C.S.).   Their codename is Tinsel and Mistletoe Division. But their nickname is Santa's Hidden Agents.

Adaptability

How do the elves and the operation adapt to humans and their increase in technology?   This question is a deep but fun topic! Let's break it down.

Physical Security

We know the main base is hidden within Christmastide Valley. While other locations surely exist and are defensible, what makes the Valley safe from the mortal explorers is a few things.   The Christmas Magic Shield: Surrounding the Valley, a shield of magic covers them from the modern technology mortals use. It also makes them invisible so no one can find them.   Christmastown Protection Regiment: These elves protect the people within from the mortals who come close to the shield.   Planning and Elves: The Elves plan for each trip and on Christmas Eve but if things occur which mean flight path plan changes or if Santa decides to do something last-minute, the elves don't freak out as much.

Supply Chain and Logistics Security

Santa has had to always receive supplies from the Fae. Maybe mortals? But then they left. And truly he had to reach out to certain people to source materials from many continents and threats can come from anywhere.   Contingency Plans: When Santa and Mrs. Claus had to approach mortals, they went to those who had the ability to help and who had Christmas Spirit. These people were farmers/ranchers, lumbermen, workers in a lumber yard, and others. They also ensured they could still keep their supply trains running if there was a global pandemic (or natural disaster or something) that stopped the contact between beings. Weather was also a factor sometimes that was planned for.   Delivery Route, Flexible: If there were issues with airplanes or boats, certain governing agencies or governments help their flight path be rerouted to avoid bad weather, wars, and things which could stop the supply chain. If there is a issue with the sleigh and reindeer, same thing. This includes Christmas Eve.

Magical Threats

We can't forget the magical risks, mostly rival beings who like espionage. But still what about these magical beings who are evil?   Magical Anti-Christmas Beings: Many may not believe this but some beings exist to serve what may be called The Spirit of Dark Christmas. This includes The Grinch (yes, he's real.), The Anti-Claus, and other beings not known to the mortal world. These beings are Santa's problem (along with the The Mystical Community of Christmas Beings).   Protocols, Magical Emergency: There are multiple protocols for magical emergencies which are unknown to many people.
