Christmastide and Claus Highway 124
Christmastide and Claus Highway 124 is a critical artery for transportation within Christmastide Valley connecting the two hearts together although it only connected the city and the forest together at first. Where some say it begins is the first spot Santa awoke in that 375AD morning. Others say it begins in Christmas Town Central District and spreads out. Neither of these are false. And like a mobius strip or figure eight it doesn't have an ending or beginning.
The highway goes all over. Before Santa's Toy Workshop Compound returned, it went all over although the highway is labeled Christmastide Road in Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City.
Anyway, it is heavily used as work sleighs (the taxis and cargo sleighs) are 95% of the daily traffic. The other 5% are any of the sleighs in the classes (Aurora-Borealis-Class Sleighs, Believer-Class Sleighs, and Claus-Class Sleighs).
Just the work sleighs alone means more traffic traveling everywhere. However, the roads can handle it for the most part.
Due to the expansiveness of the valley and the many residents, it is vital that everything is connected and accessible for the purpose of Santa's Mission. The city is often one sleigh going one way and one sleigh another. The highway part is often two sleighs side-by-side going two ways. The forest also has some places where it is one sleigh going one way and another going the opposite.
Sleighs have many destinations. And these support making Christmas Magic and delivering it to the children of each country (least those who celebrate Christmas). The Mission requires practical workings and logistics. When magic left, Santa and his helpers had to plan and ensure they had enough supplies.
Magic returning helped him a whole lot. Even the mortals who helped him discovered some magical effects on their farms and in their businesses.
Everything that comes into the valley AKA the Christmastide Mystical Kingdom comes through here. Mainly because it's cargo. Each department has a huge warehouse here that houses their supplies. This is due to their immense amount of supplies that cannot be accommodated within buildings owned by the departments. Everything from raw materials for toy-making to the various ingredients for the festive season's culinary delights is here.
Other than what is made in the Greenhouses, this is the place where many elves haul cargo sleighs back and forth many times a day. And those who don't drive the cargo sleighs either drive or ride the taxi sleighs.

Santa's Toy Workshop is where toy supplies is delivered and from there, toys are delivered either to Wrapping or to Toy Storage Waystation Depot.
Letters also are delivered from here to the actual Santa's North Pole Archives.
There are many buildings, especially here, that have docks or places to park where those patrons cannot see things being delivered or because it is much easier for the department.

As the transportation options are limited, many elves begin and end their day at their home in Christmas Elfin Housing Development. Some go to work at Christmas and Claus Animal Residences or the Christmas and Claus Sleigh Coach Housing Complex.
Elves use the sleigh taxis to go to work or deliver/retrieve items at the following locations;
Polar North Greenhouses, The Very Merry Christmas Sleigh-port, and Noel Convention Center.
