Christmas Elfin Clothing

Christmas Elves are often shown in green, red and white (the traditional Christmas colors). And it's not that they don't wear these colors (because they do) but each department either has colors or uniforms. Then there are outfits for dressier occasions. So, what is the truth? How do Christmas Elves dress for work? I will answer these questions but first let me say that they wear something practical for their jobs and while enduring the winter weather in the Arctic Region of Earth.   The truth is that whatever these beings wear, it is able to keep them warm in the winter weather and might also be cool for inside buildings.   Because clothes are handmade by people in the Clothing Department, it is possible that Christmas Elves may weave magic to help them keep their temperature at base level wherever they are. Warmth in the cold is important as cool inside buildings. This is partially the truth.   The full truth is coming up.

Clothing by Department

Each department has certain hazards and so clothing is kept in mind for these specific hazards.

Department of Christmastide Traditions and Beliefs and Customs

This has no specified restrictions or hazards and therefore Elves usually wear some of the classic Christmas colors but they tend to be a group that wears red and white as it is the traditional colors of Santa's suit. They wear everything except they wear only two layers inside. Any coats, scarfs, gloves, or toboggins are taken off at .   The colors mean different things. White is strongly associated with purity and innocence. Sometimes it is to mean truth, healing, and protection. Red has the widely recognized meaning of love, passion, romance, or power and authority. Sometimes it means danger or aggression. Although not the case for Santa and his helpers unless it comes from elsewhere.   Other colors can be worn. Some wear the classic duo colors of blue and white, gold, and silver, blue and gold, and black and white. Others wear green and red, green and blue, and red and blue. Most people try and stay neutral but nobody cares with colors in this department. All colors have their place. All are grateful for these colors.

Department of Post Office and Records

The colors in this department are red, blue, and white. These represent postal services across the world. They tend to look very post-servicey.
