Aasimar (As-i-mar)

Aasimar are a race of people descended from celestials, they were created as messiahs and arbiters by the celestials in order to exact their will on the world without the use of divine intervention. The Aasimar are guided by their celestial progenitor, who sets the Aasimar upon a "righteous" path; whether the Aasimar chooses to do so, is up to them. Aasimar are exceedingly rare because unlike the tieflings, their children typically do not inherit their divine blood. Most Aasimar are Protector Aasimar, sent to this world to send a message of benevolence or born to complete a holy task. Scourge Aasimar are born to fight the forces of evil with zeal, they are often seen aiding holy wars or fighting the influence of fiends or the undead. Fallen Aasimar are most commonly Aasimar who have fallen from grace and reject the guidance of their guardian. However, just as the Hatred Paladin is no different from an Oathbreaker, a child of an evil celestial will naturally be a fallen Aasimar, and if they are redeemed and take the path of good, they typically become Scourge Aasimar.
