Cacaokit

Cacaokits (also known as "Cocoa Pandas") are a domesticated species from the ailuridae family, and somewhat rarer than a dog or cat. Despite their adorable appearances, Cacaokits are extremely mischievous critters and act much like an unfriendly cat to people they don't know.

Cacaokits eventually become rather sweet to their owners, but continue to cause mischief and are loving assholes at best to other people. Despite this, they make surprisingly great Therapy Animals with enough training. It's almost as if they understand what an important job it is.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Cacaokits are heavily similar to Red Pandas morphologically, however they have shorter tails. Their front paws also have thumb-like digits, used for handling and fiddling with things.

Ecology and Habitats

While Cacaokits are not found in the wild, they have been able to survive in Temperate Forests if unintentionally left in such an environment.

Dietary Needs and Habits

Cacaokits should be fed a diet of mushrooms, eggs, berries, and bamboo. They can also be fed chocolate, marshmallows, and all sorts of treats! In fact, Cacaokits are famous for always trying to steal hot chocolate or cocoa from their owners.

Additional Information

Uses, Products & Exploitation

Cacaokits are a popular choice for Emotional Support Animals, as well as Therapy Animals. However they require a lot of training before officially certified. They do seem to understand what an important job they've taken on once properly trained, however.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Cacaokits seem to have the ability to sense magical abnormalities in their owners, and quite a few in history have saved their handlers by sensing deadly magical illnesses early on.
