Yezdigar III. Kulukar

I have no desire to become a tool of Fallen Ones or any other gods like you Khorashan. I don't want to become god like some of your lunatic cultists. I have only earthly desires; I want to conquer and subjugate everything my heart finds worthy on this world. My body is mortal and frail, but my will is that of god. My will be done-That is my rule, and I will fight everyone who opposes it: be it humans, gods or daemons.
Yezdigar III. of Kulukar dynasty is the current ruler of Turgos Empire, known throughout Anaheim for his expansionism and bloody conquests of southern kingdoms and tribes. Many people view him as a bringer of doom and death, but he only nominally serves to Ahranic forces; his only ambition is to unite all of Anaheim under his rule, and he is ready to use malevolent sources of power if necessary.

Personal history

Born in 1055. was born in Castle Edirnas. His father was king Tigramon IV. and his mother was governess known only by name Maya. His mother died of poisoning three months later. It is believed queen Zenara poisoned her for cheating with her husband and was also trying to get rid of her child too. However, king Tigramon decided to keep the child and raise him as his own. He was raised in Palace Koprik with his other 5 half siblings, but he was always viewed as a black sheep and had a nickname Yezdigar the Bastard. As his father was getting older and weaker, his wife started taking more and more power over country and his children. Always suspicious of Yezdigar, she started putting him into positions of power to show his incompetence, but not only did he not make any mistakes, but also made improvements in administration. After king fell sick from poisoning, Zenara accused Yezdigar of attempting to usurp the throne. He was almost executed but king recovered and ordered to free Yezdigar for prison. Yezdigar was free, but no one trusted him, even Tigramon had his suspicions about boy.   One of his only friends Melik Turusan convinced him to join army to show his loyalty to king. Yezigar showed natural talent for strategy and tactics and quickly rose through ranks, and proved his talents in many battles, such as Battle of Dumas (1079.) and Battle at river Eufri (1081.). He often led cavalry charges personally, killing everything in his path, unleashing fury made by his stepmother and siblings. His quick promotions soon ended. In campaign against Miletian republic, he marched with his army of 12 000 against miletian colony Keros. Kerosians called Milet for help, who sent general Alberico Sepranessi to relieve colony from siege. Combined Miletian - Kerosian army defeated Turgosians and broke siege. Remnants of Turgosian army were encircled and expected total destruction, but unexpectedly, Kerosians sent envoys to make peace. With no hope to escape and regroup, Yezdigar accepted peace offer.     After campaign against Miletian Republic ended in total failure, Yezdigar was sure that his stepmother would use this as an excuse to humiliate him and lower his military rank. While he was resting in his tent, he was visited by Khorashan, who told him that great destiny awaits him and that he can put him on throne. Yezidgar accepted. Two days later they returned to palace where Zenara accused him of cowardice, and demanded death by hanging, but Khorashan defense of young general and excellent rhetorical skill amazed everyone, especially Tigramon, who decided to make him his advisor on court and did not punish Yezdigar, but instead commended him for bringing Khorashan to the palace. But he will soon regret this. In less than a month, Khorashan used his charm and charisma to turn all important noble families of Turgos against Tigramon, while Yezdigar was drilling his troops for coup. On February 3rd, 1083. Yezdigar and Khorashan attacked Koprik palace. With most of Kings guard on Yezdigars side, palace was captured in just 10 minutes. Tigramon, Zenara and their children were taken to prison complex beneath palace. Yezigar killed his father for lack of respect for him even though he was his most loyal child, his sibling for mistreatment and humiliation he suffered most of his life and finally, killed Zenara with poison she made to kill him, but not before witnessing execution of her husband and children. Yezdigar has now become ruler of Turgos kingdom, giving Khorashan and newly arrived cultists of Ahran permission to preach and one year later, made Ahranism official religion.

Quotes & Catchphrases
My will be done. I despise those scholars who constantly repeat same old formula for happiness: Know thyself! Only a sterile mind could produce such life inhibiting formula. Here is my formula: Will thyself! Knowledge for knowledges sake is worse than hatred of knowledge. Knowledge must be tamed to fit with life, so that one may live what one has learned.

Ahranism (nominally)
