Balthasar Melkos

Balthasar Melkos is the Supreme Solander of Mythrasolic Church and a great supporter of reformation within Church. Born in 921. , he was left atthe doors of the Temple of Mythrasol in Modrigam and the Brothers of Sol took care of young Balthasar. In 933. he was sent to Kings Academy to study his newly discovered Sol Force within him. He graduated in 939. and joined Solander Order to fight off Ahranic monsters and demons. He rose to fame after saving Duke Rollo Halfrid from demons in the skirmish at the Gayna forest. In 960. he became Supreme Solander and started working on reforms on Church organization, inspired by Sol priest Jakob Bunavente. However Bunavente was judged by Holy Comission and his teachings were declared heretical. Balthasar and the rest of reformist faction were angered by this and tried to appeal to the King to protect Bunavente. Young King Charses II put Bunavente under his protection and demanded taht Comission revokes their decisions, which Commision refused. This struggle lasted for 3 years and nearly started a civil war. King Charses died in 997. and was succeeded by Tristan I. who expelled Bunavente and punished reformist faction for spreading dissent among Church hierarchy. Balthasar spent 3 years in jail where he saw the error of his ways and instead of accepting amnesty from Church, he chose to remain in his small and smelly cell to repent for his past sins. Now, many decades after his repentance, Balthasar has become one of the most influential officials in Kingdom and keeps his eyes open for possible demonic incursion, ready to smite them in the name of Mythrasol.
