Appearance Jada-Kai is a tall young woman, generally standing a foot taller than most Iman. Her dark copper hair is styled in a multitude of short braids for practicality, making it easier to manage and offering cushioning when wearing a helmet. Her lean, athletic physique is a testament to her childhood of dedicated Anathan training and years spent in the rigorous life of a Vosson House guard.
Temperament Raised in a matriarchal society, Jada sees women as the natural leaders in all things. Men are the softer gender, meant to be protected and pampered. She is quick to anger and fiercely loyal. Like all of her race, Jada has an unshakeable adherence to duty and believes in no higher calling than loyalty to her eshara. Once an oath is sworn, only death will break it.
Fighting Style Anathan children, especially girls, are taught to fight as soon as they take their first steps. When she was taken at age 11, she was on the cusp of her rite of passage that would have elevated her to full warrior status. After 8 years in the Vosson House Guard, Jada is a seasoned fighter. She's a gifted equestrian, well-trained in all standard weapons, and a deadly unarmed combatant. Her preferred weapon is a two-headed battle axe she calls Talqa, which means moonstruck in her native tongue.

Mental Trauma
At the age of 11, Jada's entire eshara was murdered by Madgin raiders. She and the other young children were forcibly marched to Qibu and placed aboard a merchant ship bound for the Kingdom of Osprey. Upon reaching the western lands, the children who had survived both the march and the hardships of the sea voyage were sold to the highest bidders in a highly secretive market known as the Marche Gris.
