Vavarohk God of War (vah - vah - roh - kuh)

Emperor Vavarohk, the One Who Wounds, the Harold of Harm, the Might of Victory, is the god of war is represented not in drawings or carvings but by a literal and physical flaming sword. He presents power, war, destruction, and the warrior

Overview

His alignment is Neutral evil. Bandits worship him thinking he will grant them power but will often receive none as they do not benefit him. Vavarohk gains power in conflict and the greater the scale, the more power he gains. He will often use his power to manipulate the hearts of nations into seeking war to achieve this and will often play both sides of the field. Any deity that has a domain that is physical, he considers an enemy to conquer. He is typically not openly worshiped in civilized society

Followers

His worshipers consist of bandits, generals, warriors of a more barbaric nature, and as the primary deity of the orcs. Vavarohk is often depicted as an orc and will often take form as one. He is also the prime example of orc tribe culture. His followers are expected to take up arms whenever there is need. These needs could be evil or good. While the God himself believes that effort should only be used if the user has something to gain from it, there are worshipers that believe in protecting others and doing good, they gain power by slaying evil. The highly devoted of him will take to marking their bodies; they use tally marks such as burns to represent victories and self-inflicted scars to represent losses

Omen

When the General must retire himself from the battlefield, the warriors grow reckless without his direction. If the Harold of Harm is missing from his domain, there will be an ominous sign of his absence. Scabbards of warriors all over will begin to bleed at the throat, coating the blade and dripping down the outside. What follows after can only be described as a rise of antagonistic emotions. The phenomenon only affects those that are already prone to violence, warriors, criminals, and followers of the Emperor. Some will experience paranoia, believing that everyone is out to get them and thus, they must strike first. Others will feel a rage building within them and will lash out or strike at those undeserving. It becomes a time of brother against brother, family members turning to kin-slayers, and the lines between friend and enemy becomes blurry

Return

When Vavarohk returns to his throne, he makes sure to rally the warriors to get them back in formation. When the sun reaches its center point in the sky, his warriors' weapons will glow white-hot with divine energies. The wind in the distance will blow strong, its howling sounding like a war horn being blown three times. This is a call to his followers to reform ranks and get back in line. His followers conduct a ritual of sorts to cement their reforming of bonds by forming small bands, moving to the closest border that they share with another hostile village, city, or nation. These groups will cross their borders looking for their rival bands to engage in pocket sized skirmishes. This can spark a long lasting back and forth series of hit and runs between the nations even long after War God has returned
