The Third Era, Modern

In the modern era the divine have made their return and rebuilt their following, some from the ground up. They didn't all return at the same time, or at least they weren't re-discovered at the same time. Faiths had to be rebuilt and spread once again as if it was the first time they were known. Each divine being that returned agreed to not show themselves as they once had, they would never again take physical form and opting to instead bestow strength or boons to others, letting their chosen champions take on that role for them at times

The times of super powered beings being in control of the material plane are over. The Dragon Empire is but a legend to tell at a tavern. The societies composed of great arcane powers are but a fable that most commoners don't even believe. The weave has been repaired but tears still exist as well as those to other planes. The third era is most definitely the era of mortal-kind to build and destroy onto themselves. New societies were formed, villages grew to cities, neighbors became countrymen, borderlines were established and have been fought over countless times
