Kara Blake, the captain of The Black Wing mercenaries is a prodigous warrior and spellcaster, talented with both blade and sorcery. She leads the Black Wing like a general does an army. Personally meeting every recruit, she ensures only the best of the best are allowed to join her company. Since she took over in 785, the company has grown in size, even with her stricter vetting, due to a harder push on recruitment.
