Gunir's Breaker
Appearance
Gunir's Breaker is a large maul. The handle is crafted from a rough-hewn, but incredibly sturdy wood, large enough around to be difficult to grasp. The head is a large, viciously spiked metal piece, with the back spike in a similar but smaller design. The metal, while it has a slightly corroded and old look, is stronger than steel, and seems to be an alloy of orichalcum. The pommel is made of the same metal, and has two smaller spikes on it, seemingly more decorative than functional.History
While the Breaker doesn't have the same level of fame or infamy as some other divine weapons, historians with an interest in these items have tracked it as best they can. It remains unproven as to whether Gunir himself crafted the hammer, but the first accounts of it come from the city that would become Dor Vonul. Vassak Stonecrusher, an ancient priest of Gunir, wrote of discovering Gunir's Breaker deep under The Iron Spine, guided by a vision from the Lord of Stone himself. From there, the weapon passed down through the Guniran temple, wielded by the highest priest until, during the coup of 696, the maul vanished, thought lost under the mountains.
