General Reiner Paravale
General Reiner Paravale attempted to transport legions of Crownsguard and Wardens beyond the frontier to face the Shade and its horrors head-on. Now, crashed dirigibles lie like scorched skeletons across a charred battlefield. This was to be a great victory – the first since the Crusades – but humanity’s power turned against them, and the fire they wielded scorched the skies.
