A trio of three short lived rulers.   House of Kernev

Shortly after his coronation, King Maxreni is killed by his brother Rivod in an argument. Rivod mutilates Maxreni's son, Maelor, rendering him ineligible for the throne under the tradition that a claimant must be physically undamaged, seizing the throne. Maelor was given a silver hand and brass foot by the Korrigan, staging a rebellion before he was killed near Montroulez. Rivod, in turn is poisoned by Erich, who is ousted by Budig II and executed.
