  In the early years of his reign, king Lucius was admired for his just and compassionate leadership. He garnered the support and love of his people through fair governance, progressive policies, and a genuine commitment to their welfare. During this time, he was known for fostering unity among various races and promoting harmony throughout the kingdom. He was also the proposer and patron of various grandiose projects thought the kingdom, such as the first aerial port of the kingdom in the county of Assort, or the expeditions into the savage Blue Forest in search of ancient Interian artifacts.

The Transformation into "The Culler

Approximately six years ago, a dark change overcame him transforming him into "The Culler." The reasons for this transformation remain shrouded in mystery, leaving the kingdom to grapple with questions of what led their once-beloved ruler down this path of dissension. Whether personal tragedies, political machinations, or external influences were at play, the consequences of this change were deeply troubling and fast to come.  
Under the twisted ideology of "The Culler", king Lucius began targeting certain races deemed "evil by nature." He propagated a dangerous and unfounded belief that these beings were inherently wicked and posed a threat to the kingdom's well-being. He called this idea their "natural alignment" and assured all people that under this new theory, one could know the intentions of people only by their race. The pretext of cleansing the realm of those of "evil natural alignment" justified his cruel and systematic purging of these communities.  
This reign of terror extended to the targeted races and their allies. His regime enforced draconian laws and subjected these communities to persecution, forced labor, and constant surveillance. Even those duchies that were permitted laxer terms of control for their population, had to ensure a separation of those the king called "Lowlifes". Public executions to spread fear and ensure compliance, and mass exodus from cities were forced. Families were torn apart, and entire villages were razed, leaving a trail of devastation in the wake of his unchecked cruelty.  

Resistance and Outcry

  As word of "The Culler's" atrocities spread beyond the kingdom's borders, a groundswell of international outrage arose. Various neighboring nations, leaders, and advocacy groups condemned his actions and called for an end to the atrocities. This led to the king closing the borders of the kingdom and ending all diplomatic and commercial ties with neighboring nations, which included abandoning the Treaty of Hernomachia and the silver coin standard. Despite his oppressive rule, pockets of resistance formed within Interia, uniting brave individuals from different races to challenge the tyrant's malevolence.   As Interia continues to grapple with "The Culler's" reign, the oppressed races, and their allies strive to survive and resist, hoping for a day when their kingdom can be freed from the grip of this malevolent tyrant. The fate of Interia now hangs precariously, its future uncertain, as the struggle for justice and liberation persists.
