Qualifications

Bloodline: The oc must be born into the highest-ranking underwater royal family.

Proven Leadership: the oc cannot automatically inherit the title, she must undergo significant training and education.

Completion of Trials: She must pass royal trials designed to test her capability in managing political affairs, leading military forces, and performing delicate rituals.

Requirements

Age: The oc needs to be at least in her early twenties to gain recognition as a leader in the royal court, although she can be considered a noble from a younger age.

Species: She must be of Siren or Merfolk descent

Ancestor Requirement: The title is traditionally passed down through bloodlines. If the MC's mother were a ruler, it would be likely that she must first prove herself worthy before taking on the leadership, but the bloodline is key

Appointment

The MC’s rise to this rank would be marked by the completion of rituals, most notably The Rite of Ascension, where she faces trials to prove her worthiness as the rightful heir, with an elder of the royal family or a high-ranking council member conferring the title upon her. This rite could include tests of strength, wisdom, and leadership. The Primoris Thalasson (high leader or ruling monarch) will preside over the ceremony.

Duties

  • Leadership for the People: The oc is expected to act as a leader who unites the various underwater factions. She must mediate conflicts, protect the realm from external threats (e.g., human forces or sea monsters), and ensure prosperity and peace.
  • Guardian of Traditions: As a princess and future leader, the OC must uphold the cultural and magical traditions of her people.
  • Education and Mentorship: She has an obligation to teach the younger generation, ensuring the continuation of their legacy, and aiding in the education of future leaders.

Responsibilities

Military Strategy: Overseeing the defense of the underwater kingdom, training forces, and preparing strategies against invaders or rebellions.

Cultural Leadership: As the heir to the throne, the MC must engage in ceremonial duties, including religious rites, ensuring that the traditions of the underwater realms are upheld
