The Plethorn Family

The living Hierarchy of the Plethorn family goes as follows 1. Tillorn, older twin, a shadow genasi, who rules Stelliah 2. Ullom, the mother of Tillorn and Sasha. Sent Sasha to Hestiah to regain Plethorn control of the region 3. Sasha, younger twin, human who is running a political campaign in Hestiah. Attempting to live up to her twin brother.   The elusive Demi-God Mallith is technically considered to be in the Plethorn bloodline but he does not involve himself in the Plethorn activities in many manners. He instead looks upon Tillorn in shame as he expects far more from an inheritor of his power.

The Plethorn family currently is the ruling bloodline over Stelliah and are attempting to regain control over Hestiah. It is common knowledge that retaking Hestiah is the primary goal of the Plethorns. But it is believed that the Plethorn agenda if they reclaim Hestiah is to eventually start expanding their regions further East. This implies that they would begin impeding on Enithe and Thurn territory.

The greatest asset of the Plethorn family is the region of Stelliah. The family is incredibly rich and powerful. The combined might of their long reign in Stelliah has gifted the family with tons of riches and honor.   A newer asset to the Plethorn family is the introduction of Demi-God powers to their bloodline. The power of Mallith now flows in Plethorn blood. While Tillorn is still learning about his powers and capabilities. Many believe he is more than capable of becoming one of the strongest mortals to walk Altheria. Many fear of the possibility of Tillorn becoming capable of passing down these powers, creating the threat of the Plethorn family becoming incredibly powerful.

Notable Moments in Plethorn History

The Plethorns first rose to prominence when Vinull and Minthus joined the famous expedition in 56 F.A. and then set off and founded Stelliah and Hestiah in 61 F.A. Vinull ruled over Stelliah for 62 years before seceding power to his son Grinthin. He then passed away at the age 86 from old age in 125 F.A. Minthus ruled Hestiah for only 20 years, before losing the throne to a civil uprising in 81 F.A. It is rumored Minthus was exiled from Hestiah but he apparently wandered through the mountainous region for years before presumably dying. His body never found. This marked the end of Plethorn rule in Hestiah   In the years 130 F.A. to 1000 F.A. the Plethorn family strictly lived out in Stelliah. Extending their bloodline throughout the region. Many of the royal lines cousins and family friends rose to positions of powers as Dukes, Lords, Nobles and Governors. The Plethorns focused on establishing a network of power and fallbacks in case they were overthrown like Minthus was in Hestiah.   In the year 988 F.A. Ullom Plethorn, the ruling queen of Stelliah refused to take a husband from any of her potential suitors. Instead she knew she would give birth to children of change and greatness. She had tons of research and adventurers explore the world searching for some form of transcendent power. Eventually she found a Demi-God in the famous Stelliah Cave system, Mallith Demi-God of Shadows. She eventually confronted him and offered her body to him, Mallith refused at first not interested in becoming involved with mortals. Ullom then offered a deal to Mallith, she proposed that churches and statues of him would be built throughout major cities in Stelliah. Encouraging the worship of the Demi-God potentially raising him to Godhood. She also offered to have all the lights in the subterranean cities turned off for 24 hours once a month in honor of him. This deal pleased Mallith, he agreed to her deal and in the year 989 F.A. Torrin and Sasha were born.   In 1004 F.A. Sasha knowing she won't be inheriting the throne of Stelliah heads towards Hestiah. Believing that she is the second coming of Minthus, a lesser twin with something to prove. In 1006 F.A. Torrin assumes power of the throne from Ullom and begins his reign over Stelliah.
