Dream Magicians

From the records of Loremaster Eodrik, from the Greyveil Order, a relatively inconsequential Guild situated in the foothills between Gorlav and Gorlavka  ...Dream Magic is an ancient and rare art, rooted in the very nature of the Second World, whose metaphysical fabric weaves through all things. It is not of the Feyn, nor derived from any other creature, but arises from the core essence of the dream-realm itself. Dreamwalkers are those able to reach into this shifting reality and bend it to their will. They begin humbly, perhaps by shaping the dreams of others or pulling fleeting illusions into the waking world. Yet, for those who grow in mastery, Dream Magic holds far greater potential—transforming thought into matter and reshaping the world around them in ways that defy natural law. This art may be strongest in places where the boundaries between realms are thin, or where reason is: perhaps in ancient shrines, forgotten battlefields, or in the valleys where the forgotten songs of the Fey still echo. But know this: Dream Magic is perilous. The Second World does not suffer careless manipulation. Our scrolls tell of Dreamwalkers who became ensnared by their own creations, their nightmares turning real with terrifying consequence. The very act of magic drains one’s willpower, and if pushed too far, the consequences are dire—mind and spirit shattered like glass. Our people here in Gorlav and Gorlavka have learned a kind of respect for this power, sometimes leaving offerings to the old gods, hoping to appease whatever restless magic stirs in the hills.
