Ashenti

Ashenti is a legendary city founded by the Imari, a tribe known for their resilience and adaptability in the face of harsh desert environments. The origins of Ashenti date back to when the Imari were a wandering people, known as the Essil, who traversed the deserts of the First World. Their fortune changed when a lost caravan, guided by a celestial sign, discovered an oasis surrounded by rosy quartz canyons. This site became the foundation of Ashenti, transforming the Imari from nomadic wanderers into a settled people with a true homeland.
Ashenti, also known as the "City of Stars," was built as a terraced city on the shores of the Nadiya, a pristine lake fed by warm vents beneath the mountains. The city was not only a center of commerce and agriculture but also a hub of knowledge and culture. The Imari constructed a grand palace from a natural plateau, shaded by the mountains, and established a library that attracted scholars from distant lands. The Chatillian sages from Nirithea visited Ashenti, sharing their wisdom and further enriching the city’s intellectual and spiritual life. The city was also home to an observatory where the Imari sought portents in the stars, a reflection of their deep connection to the celestial.
