Founding of the Irao Dynasty
Political eventDuring the Great Plague, around 60% of the population of Vekirai had converted to the Pentarchist religion. The Irao family were wealthy merchants and the most influencial Pentarchists in the city. When Luria Gan Irao declared his claim as rightful King of Vekirai and Master of the Ports, he was all but unopposed; the three highest ranked admirals in the Vekirati Navy had already converted to Pentarchism and supported the Irao claim. The Irao kings ruled over Vekirai from 328 to 213BU.
