Rosy Princessdom

The island is ruled by Princess Rosy, a once-blacksmith who spearheaded the revolution against the Butterfly Kingdom in days past. For whatever reason, the entire island turned a shade of rose when she ascended the throne. The reason for this is unclear.

Up until about 2201 S. E., the Rosy Princessdom was known as the Butterfly Kingdom. It was a land ruled by King Oberon and Queen Titania. At first, the two ruled peacefully, but Titania's growing paranoia over the years strained the kingdom. Just two years before the revolution, Titania killed, cut up, and served a visiting human to the kingdom's nobility as a message about what would happen to them if they betrayed her.

When King Oberon found out what had happened, he was horrified. Not knowing what else to do, he had Titania imprisoned in Mt. Inferno, home of Altairus's worst and most dangerous criminals. Over the next two years, he retreated from his duties, causing the kingdom to crumble.

Princess Rosy, once a blacksmith in the kingdom, spearheaded the revolution against the old monarchy. From what is told, Oberon did not resist the overthrow of his rule. In its place, Rosy established a new dynasty, restoring the kingdom to its former glory. What was once the Butterfly Kingdom, though, is now known as the Rosy Princessdom.

Bizarrely, a river of strawberry milk flows in the caverns underneath the royal palace. It seems to be drinkable by all accounts, though no one knows exactly where it comes from.

The palace itself is a sight to behold. Crafted out of salmon stones, it bears carvings of roses and magical beasts in its walls.
