Helios the Pegacorn

Helios the Pegacorn

This Winter Solstice carol pays tribute to Helios of the Altairian Zodiac. The song commemorates his role in fending off invading faeries from Yule City by The Elder Goat's side.

Lyrics

To the tune of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"

Helios the Pegacorn,

Was a very silly beast.

From the Forever Meadows,

He made his wary flight down east.

Unicorn or pegasus,

He never really could compare.

To Tempest Island he went,

To learn the powers of the Air.

Then one stormy Solstice Eve,

The Elder came to say,

"Helios, we need your help tonight,"

"Won't you save us from this plight?"

And how the Yule goats loved him,

Beating back invading sprites.

"Oh, Helios, our hero,"

"You'll be blessed for many nights!"

"You'll be blessed for many, many nights!"
