Personal history
The Ministry of Ergonomics selected Matilde from birth to serve in the Grenagese bureaucracy. Whisked away from her birth mother, she grew into adulthood under the training of the Academy of Administration. Displaying a knack for rhetoric and logic, she entered into the Ministry of Image, upon her graduation from the Academy, where she worked to produce propaganda for the Empire. She proved to be a gifted manager and, more importantly, adept at menouvering political currents, and quickly rose in the ranks of the ministry. The Council of Nine voted her into the position of Chair of Image in the year 147. She currently focuses the power of her position on rebutting the slowly rising influence of religion on lower class workers.

She was appointed to the position of Chair of Image, the head of the Ministry of Image, by the chairs of the other ministries with an unanimous vote.
Failures & Embarrassments
In order to combat the growing popularity of the Rosa religion, Matilde has familiarized herself with every aspect of their creed and known instances of its worship within the Empire. She hasn't fully admitted this to herself, much less anyone else, but certain tenants of the religion have started to resonate with her. She's worried that perhaps the ideals she's spent her life suppressing so they wouldn't corrupt others, have started to corrupt her.
