Rdmund Forge

Rdmund Forge, otherwise called Redmont Forge, is the largest forge in Gorgun City. Operated by the Elder Forgers, it serves as the capital building of Gorgun City. It is built from Peeter, a red stone mined from the heart of Eribor and valued for its immense strength and durability, giving the forge its name. The forge is built directly into the side of Eribor, using the hot lava flows to power their gigantic furnaces. While Redmont does produce basic metals such as common steel and iron, this forge specializes and is most famous for the Gorgun Iron smelted in its furnaces.   Redmont Forge runs nonstop, churning out large quantities of metal goods for sale in the Gorgun markets. It's various levels and cavernous halls are a tribute to the Gorgun's power and superb metalurgy prowess and architecture. Perfectly square rooms carved into the live stone and gigantic vaults hold mountains of gold and precious jewels that the Gorgun's have mined from the mountains and hills surrounding Eribor.
