The Sea of Canwin
The Sea of Canwin stretches from the northeastern corner of Nord to Azfik beyond which the waters get deeper as the waters enter the Stagnach Ocean. The other side of this sea is the southern part of Nord to Palus, between these two lines the waters are relatively shallow, getting shallower near the Bay of Firenze and amongst the islands of Sorrelle Letre.
The waters here being shallower are warmer allowing for many seaweeds, seagrasses and coral to grow leading to a huge abundance of aquatic life. The fishing fleets of Sesto and Firenze make use of this rich environment to maintain food for these cities.
While the waters of the archipelago are well known to be the domain of the Alu'Tel'Quessir kingdom, these areas have been well travelled by boats for many years with little danger from other aquatic races.
