Reparata Silversmiths

Renowned throughout Alphatia for the craftsmanship of the silver this group creates be it jewelry, decorations for weapons or vessels.  The smiths are also well known for their magical prowess and their mark can be seen on many magical items throughout the isle.  Every piece has both the mark of the leaf, the smith's name and a number to record the creation of these artworks.  It is reported that the guild records the details of each piece in magical journals stored in some hidden guildhall.   This operation and profits from the silversmiths have been taken over by the Ovest Tuomi and the group is considered vassals of the larger and more powerful merchant group.  While they have maintained control of the two townships they have established and the many guildhalls built within their walls, they are now closely watched by the Tuomi and most of their work is now funneled to the Tuomi houses with any entering the market at dramatic markups.   One of the most well-known groups of the guild is the Silver Blades. These stalwart warriors are protectors of the guildhalls and the silver, gems and other precious metals that has brought the guild fame. They have grown a reputation to foil any attempts of theft and should a rogue actually achieve at removing something of the Silversmiths they have always been caught, the thief in question marked with 6 silver blade "cuts".   To become an apprentice of the Silversmiths an applicant must already hold a craftsman mark of another metalsmith school.  The applicant must then craft a silver leaf depending on the month of the year, failure requires that the applicant must create multiple leaves when they apply again.  The silver and gems for this creation must be purchased or acquired by the applicant and represents the initial payment for tutelage whether the applicant is successful or not.
