Alpha War: Hand of Destiny Battle of the Old Ones

Created by

In the mythical plane known as the World of Olamos, where divine powers converge and contend for dominance, the very fabric of existence hinges on a fragile, eternal balance of power. Olamos is more than a world—it is the cosmic engine that governs the entire known universe, where gods, goddesses, and forces beyond comprehension battle to control a place of supreme authority: the Control Room. This Control Room is the throne of ultimate power, where the enigmatic Council of El resides, a gathering of the universe's mightiest deities who shape the destiny of all realms. Here, deities from all pantheons and backgrounds vie for supremacy, embroiled in a complex, everlasting war that transcends time itself.   At the heart of Olamos stands *Logic*, the supreme intelligence of the universe, a deity who embodies pure reason and calculation. Logic has existed since before the first spark of creation and has attempted, time and again, to impose order upon the chaotic will of the gods. But even Logic’s vast intelligence has struggled to contain the chaotic energies of Olamos, a realm teeming with powerful beings whose motives are as varied as the stars. Logic is constantly thwarted by deities who bend and break the rules, but he persists, knowing that his role is essential to any semblance of cosmic order.   Among the tricksters in Olamos is *Anansi*, the cosmic space wizard who revels in meddling with the lives and plots of other deities. Anansi is a master of deception and cosmic magic, a being whose schemes ripple through the layers of existence, tangling the fates of both gods and mortals alike. His interference is a constant thorn in the side of those who seek to consolidate power, his laughter echoing through Olamos as he weaves chaos into the tapestry of the cosmos.   Then there is *Malice*, a dark force, seething with hatred and consuming envy. Malice harbors an undying grudge against any deity who claims authority, but his hatred is particularly fixed on *El*, the Supreme Champion God who rules with an iron grip. El is the father of many prominent deities, a mighty and stern god who forged the laws that govern both divine and mortal realms. He stands atop the hierarchy, reigning supreme, yet the weight of his rule has earned him enemies, none more bitter than Malice.   In the primordial era, before the pantheons of Olamos solidified their territories, there were the first two beings of unimaginable power: *Ayin* and *Olorun*. These primordial deities emerged as two halves of an incomprehensible whole, representing the fundamental forces of creation and destruction. Ayin, the personification of anti-matter, consumes all she touches, seeking to dismantle creation itself, while Olorun, the embodiment of matter, must also consume matter to fuel creation. Together, they brought forth other deities as their offspring, beings born of the dual energies of creation and annihilation. Their children became gods, each embodying aspects of their parents, sowing seeds of conflict and cooperation across Olamos.   Among these offspring, the Egyptian pantheon, known as *The Unseen*, emerged as a force both mysterious and potent. The Unseen weave through Olamos largely unnoticed, operating in the shadows, their actions cloaked in secrecy. They are neither allies nor enemies of El, though they are wary of his absolute authority, choosing instead to pursue their own enigmatic agendas, which occasionally place them at odds with other deities.   *El*, the Supreme Champion God, continues to govern Olamos and the broader universe, a titan among deities who maintains a tightly held control over all things. He rules not through sheer might alone but through a web of laws, decrees, and intricate bindings that secure his reign. He is the patriarch of gods both famous and forgotten, and he brooks no defiance lightly. Yet El himself was not without his own moments of weakness, and two particular entities—*Yahweh*, the Dragon King, and *Pale Horse*, a being shrouded in mystery—took advantage of one such moment. Through subtle words and deft maneuvering, they persuaded El to grant mortals the possibility of receiving divine blessings. Their aim was not benevolent; it was an elaborate ploy to siphon psychic energy from mortals, feeding their power and preventing humans from ever reaching true godhood.   Yahweh and Pale Horse enlisted *The Shining Ones*, an ancient order of dragons, to teach them how to wield draconic energy, a force as old as time itself, potent enough to challenge even the Champion God El. With this forbidden knowledge, Yahweh and Pale Horse crafted ways to exploit mortal energy, their influence growing as they harvested the devotion and fear of humanity.   In the depths of Olamos, a powerful force known as *The Good Kind* also stirred—a deity embodying pure goodness, later revealed to be *Bondye*, who alongside *Ahura*, the divine personification of Goodness, and *True Light*, the progenitor god known as Aither, forged the concept of goodness itself. True Light, shining with a primordial purity, became a beacon of life and virtue, yet found himself locked in an endless struggle against Ayin and Olorun. Ayin, embodying anti-matter, sought to consume True Light in her endless hunger, while Olorun, representing matter, required material substance to create and perpetuate life, often conflicting with True Light’s own mission to preserve the purity of existence. True Light found an ally in *Innocence*, the god Amenominakanushi, often called the First Kami, who joined him in resisting Ayin and Olorun’s opposing forces, containing their destructive urges as best they could.   All the while, *Logic* worked ceaselessly to impose a semblance of order on the warring gods. Yet Logic alone could not contain the chaos, and thus, *Balance*, the Egyptian goddess Ma’at, came to him. She recognized that humanity, fragile yet resilient, would need protection in this vast cosmic struggle. Together, Logic and Balance devised a way for humanity to endure the ambitions of the gods. They reasoned that if El had been convinced to allow Yahweh and Pale Horse to empower mortals, then all gods should have the same opportunity. In this way, Logic and Balance ensured that other deities could also bestow gifts upon mortals, allowing humans to choose their own paths and rise against the dominance of Yahweh and Pale Horse, creating champions among the people who could resist divine manipulation.   In the World of Olamos, these forces of power, intellect, and will clash in an unending battle. The Control Room, seat of the Council of El, remains the ultimate prize. Each deity is bound by their nature, yet capable of breaking their own molds in their quest for control. Olamos stands at the intersection of order and chaos, where divine wills shape reality and mortals are but pawns in a game whose stakes are nothing less than the existence of the universe itself.
