Misthaven Colony
A Colony of Mycanoids living close to the village of Brightwater. They are led by Sovereign Misthaven. The Misthaven Mycanoids have long since adapted to their proximity to the humans in Brightwater. Taking on more human like forms as they age so they fit in more naturally to the social environment. They have learned to speak and form bodies that function in many the same ways as humans. Other mycanoid traits still remain. They emit spores that allow them to telepathicly communicate with other species. They live for around the same amount of time. 24-30 years. But that have also gained a new wonderlust, seeking to go out and explore the world. Much to the chagrin of the Patriarchs, Matriarchs and their Sovereign.
The Misthaven Colony is home to a thriving circle of spore druids led by Elder Vibram . Being part mushroom Mycanoids are extremely adept at the art of manipulating the undead. They have been serving as a protective force defending Brightwater from Necrodom incursions. Because of their efforts, and the aid they receive from their alliance with Brightwater, they have all lived in relative peace compared to the rest of the world.
