Almora Calendar
Almora Standard Calendar
The Almora Standard Calendar has been adopted and is used by all merchant organizations on the planet. While its use among the average folk living on different continents isn't consistent, most still keep track of it for trade purposes.
A standard Almoran year consists of 320 days, split into four seasons each containing four months for a total of 16 months. Each month contains four weeks of 5 days. Each day is 26 hours. The hour to minute to second, etc. conversion is what we'd expect it to be.
5 Days in a Week:
- Initdies: The beginning of the week, the first day of labors. Strength renewed after rest.
- Lumendies: If the week were like a day, this would be the sunrise. The light guiding us to mid-day.
- Medidies: The middle of the week. Balance of light and darkness.
- Umbradies: If the week were like a day, this would be the sunset. The night spreading through the sky, leading to our time of rest. Traditionally, every other Umbradies is treated as a rest day with the last two days of every month treated like a holiday celebrating the end and beginning of each month.
- Requidies: The final day of the week, which is always a day of rest.
