Sahkonteic meets the moon spirit

Sahkonteic as a teenager was always fascinated by the moons. He often worshipped the grey moon and the grey moon was blessing him in return. One day he set on a journey to find the spirit of the moon and ask her how he could serve her better. He travelled to the mountains that are by the sea and the river. He found the special rock formation that is protected by the wolf. Upon climbing it he was faced with the guardian, a giant wolf. Sahkonteic took the appearance of the wolf and the giant wolf bowed down to Sahkonteic and let him pass.    The young man continued his journey toward the rock of the bear and soon after climbing it, he met with the bear guardian. Thinking it would be the same as the previous test he transformed into a bear, but the bear guardian was jealous of the other bears so he attacked Sahkonteic. They fought during all the day and during all the night, but the guardian bear was keeping on fighting. So Sahkonteic decided to trick the bear guardian and he managed to pass.   Sahkonteic made his way towards the last guardian, the rock of the owl. Upon arriving on the top of the mountain, Sahkonteic couldn't find the guardian so set up his camp for the night. In the morning he was awoken by a very angry owl coming back to his nest. The owl guardian offered a deal to Sahkonteic, if he could solve his riddle he would bring him to the pond of the moon, if he couldn't, the owl guardian would feast on his body. So after Sahkonteic solved the riddle, the owl brought him to the pond of the moon.   When Sahkonteic arrived at the pond of the moon, there was nothing to be seen besides the pond. He stayed for many days and nights camping near the pond. But nothing happened. Until the full moon came and he saw the spirit of the moon sitting by the pond. The spirit of the moon told Sahkonteic that he was very brave to have come to see her and she blessed him of the greatest gift the moon could give.
