Malroetan Empire
(Themed around The Roman Empire, but they lost the war against carthage and merchants took over the empire) For over 70 years, the Malroetan have been at war against the Raexinar for the control of the sea canals, but none could strike the decisive blow. The Malroetan's treasury ran out of money about 45 years ago and thanks to a conglomerat of Malroetan merchant the civil war could be avoided. The conglomerat of merchant now rule the Malroetan has an trading empire. Although they are still at war agains the Raexinar, they decided to take a more subtle approch and make the use of mercenaries and pirates to perform raids. About 25 years ago, gold pieces became very rare to find in the empire, this create an inflation of luxury items and a decrease in value of the copper pieces. Common folk resorted to going back to trading goods for other goods, even beggars don't want lower curencies. Also 25 years ago, the temple of Palash began an holy crusade to the far west of the continent to try and settle a city. The Raexinar Republic
(Themed around Carthage, they didn't lose the war and now have a nice African republic) In constant war for the domination of the sea canals with the Malroetans, the Raexinar had a better fate during the war but only due to the fact they allied themselves with the aevran pirates and that the Malroetan fleet couldn't navigate the thousand isles sea. In the last 25 years they began expanding to the west, but the territory is very hostile and the Siomir tribes are constantly arrassing them if they come close to the forest. The Raexinar have a huge population problem, they have a lot of men but no where to go to settle. They play the same game has the empire by hireing mercenary bands and pirates, but this won't last long they need new land to cultivate and prosper.Aevran Kingdom
(Themed around an Arabic kingdom) The most scientifically advanced of all the humans, the Aevran love to study mathematics, art and magic, but only the men are allowed to do this. About 70 years ago a huge earthquake totally destroyed the main city during the women annual festival, since this time, women aren't allowed to do anything but stay home and take care of the family. Aevran live near the biggest desert on the continent, the sands holds a lot of ruins of strange dragon and dragon humanoid statues.Ettaray Tribe

Siomir Tribe
(Themed around Aztec) The siomir have no contacts with the outside world, they live in fear of the gods and will frequently participate in ritual sacrifices. They often perform raids in nearby villages to capture creatures for their sacrifice.Mountain Dwarf
Mountain dwarves are the most common of the dwarves outside their own kingdom. They frequently travel the world and sell their service as craftsman or workers for jobs where you need a lot of endurance.Rocky Peaks Dwarf
Used to the cold air and low oxygen regions, they tend to be welcoming of visitors, but they are not going out of their kingdom much.Crevice Dwarf

Cliff dwarves are even more reckless than the crevice dwarves, they only have one wall to cling to.Depth Dwarf
Depth Dwarves are the less common dwarves seen outside of their kingdom, they live so far down the earth that they lost their vision in sunny area, but they compensate by seeing a lot better in dark areas.Dwarf Sewer
The Sewer dwarves live in the slumps in all the major human cities, they are not considered dwarves by other dwarves and are vermins in all human settlements.Half Giant of the Sky
From their youth, Sky half giant are told stories of adventure and conquest, so when they come of ages they set out of their territory to find adventure. They value the power of a man by how tall they are, this might explain why they have a hatred for dwarves.Half Giant Cyclop
Cyclops mostly keep to themselves on their cold mountain tops, but some of them will go out and venture into the human lands, they make great mercenaries and bodyguards. Although they may look uncivilized, they prefer to see themselves as having a basic civilization with no conditions.Minotaure Zelmir
Minotaures loves to raid and pillages the human settlements that are nearby their town. The water around the thousand isles are very tricky to navigate. Minotaures are very good sailors and pirates.Ash Elves
Ash Elves have a high superiority complex, but very recently, because of all the trades they do with Humans ,they developed a softer spot for other races. 6 of the 11 cities in the plain of ashes decided to abolish slavery in any forms (about 20 years ago). This created a huge influx of refugee in all the nearby kingdom. The best slaves where taken by the other Ash Elves cities, but slaves of all races fled toward their liberty.Exotic Races
Coming from the far reaches of the continent or even further, some exotic races can be seen in the Malroetan capital and the surrounding regions.
