Raik
Minor God
Moon: Stardust
Domains: Torture and Vice
Symbol: A whip coiled around a heart
Mortal Story
The Elves of Life were seen as embodiments of vitality and purity, reminders of what mortals could aspire to. But Raik was their darkest contradiction. From youth, he lived in debauchery and excess, indulging in every vice he could find.
As he grew older, he became a ruthless dealer, terrorizing employees and clients alike. When the War of the Elves erupted, Raik saw opportunity. He trafficked in slaves, selling prisoners between factions. He dealt in drugs, racketeering, and every form of corruption. Under his influence, the elven capital of the Elves of Life became infamous as the capital of vice.
But his practices shamed his people. When corruption among city officials was exposed, Raik was expelled by force.
Cut off from his empire, Raik spiraled into madness. His cruelty deepened, and he began to torture those unfortunate enough to cross his path. He perfected torment not only as punishment, but as a tool—extracting secrets, breaking wills, and rebuilding his illicit empire on the suffering of others.
Ascension
By the end of the war, Raik had become the most feared torturer in elven history. His empire of vice and cruelty was so infamous that his name became synonymous with corruption itself.
When he died, his legend did not fade. Instead, it grew, fed by the fear and hatred of those who had suffered under him. Thus, he ascended as the minor god of Torture and Vice, a divine corrupter who twists life’s energy into degradation.
