Domains: Oppression and Bones

Mortal Story
After the rebellion of the Ogres against their Draconian overlords, chaos reigned. Many sought power, but it was Ogrok who emerged victorious. Unlike others, he ruled not through wisdom or alliance, but through terror and spectacle.
Ogrok had a twisted fascination with bones. Those who opposed him were dragged into public squares, where their bones were stripped away one by one. These remains were not discarded but turned into macabre statues and effigies, monuments to his cruelty. His city became a forest of bone, a place where every street corner whispered of his power.
For three decades, Ogrok ruled as the Marrow King, crushing dissent and feeding his obsession. When the Draconians attempted to retake the city, their army faltered at the sight of the bone effigies, believing the place cursed.
But tyranny breeds rebellion. Eventually, the civilians rose up, outnumbering Ogrok’s guards. Though he tried to wield fear as he always had, the people no longer trembled. They were ready to die for freedom. Ogrok was captured and brought before the city to face judgment.
Yet before they could exact vengeance, Ogrok vanished. He had already ascended, becoming the minor god of Oppression and Bones, leaving his people humiliated and broken even in their moment of triumph.
Ascension
Ogrok’s divinity was born not from love or reverence, but from fear and inevitability. His reign of terror had carved itself into the psyche of his people, and that fear gave him power beyond death. He became the eternal symbol of tyranny, the god who reminds mortals that oppression can outlive even the oppressor.
