God, minor : Frizt, Family and Loyalty
Frizt
Minor God
Moon: Golden
Domains: Family and Loyalty
Symbol: Wood Axe
Mortal History In the highlands of the continent, Frizt was nothing more than a simple farmer. A half‑giant Firbolg, he lived peacefully with his family and friends, tilling the land and raising his children. But one day, a band of human raiders attacked his village, burning houses and terrorizing the inhabitants. Frizt was not a warrior, but he refused to flee. Armed only with his woodcutter’s axe, he stood in the middle of the street and faced the bandits. They took him for easy prey, but quickly discovered their mistake: his strength, his size, and above all his determination made him an unbreakable bulwark. The raiders returned day after day, but each time they found Frizt standing, ready to defend his people. At last, they abandoned their attacks. Frizt’s reputation spread to neighboring villages, who came to seek his aid. He never refused: wherever he went, he protected families, repaired ruined homes, and taught peasants how to defend themselves. Over the years, he became a living legend. He was called “the most loyal of half‑giants,” a man who always placed family and friendship above all else. But it was when he faced the bandit chief in single combat—and defeated him before a crowd of witnesses—that his fame crossed the borders of his people.
Divine Ascension At his death, the songs and tales of his deeds were so numerous that the fervor of mortals raised him to the rank of a minor god. From then on, Frizt embodied the quiet strength of loyalty and the protection of families. It is said that when a household is threatened by war or misery, a towering figure may appear in the mountain mist, holding a wooden axe: it is Frizt, reminding all that the family is the first and last bastion of every civilization.
