Mortal History
Among the air elves, curiosity was regarded as a weakness. Yet Faelgar could not help but marvel at the tales, the memories, and the stories of his people. Gifted with a prodigious memory, he nevertheless feared losing precious fragments. Thus he began to write, and then to sing, transforming the stories into ballads that spread among his kin.
When he had gathered most of the stories of the air elves, he wished to go further: to discover the memories of other peoples. It was then that he met Quaerlik, a cosmic half‑giant, driven by the same thirst for knowledge, though turned toward adventures and mythical creatures. Together, they roamed the world—Faelgar immortalizing their exploits in song, and Quaerlik living them by the sword.
In every city, Faelgar left behind ballads, sowing legends that grew with time. Little by little, their names became inseparable: one sang, the other fought, and together they built a shared memory.
Divine Ascension
No one knows exactly when Faelgar and Quaerlik crossed the threshold into divinity. But one day, their names were no longer those of heroes, but of minor gods. Faelgar became the god of Memory and Legend, while Quaerlik was exalted as the god of Adventure and mythical creatures—though his domain sometimes drew him close to the gods of evil.
Even in godhood, they remained inseparable, like two faces of the same quest: one preserving the trace, the other forging the experience.
