  Daelorn was born among the Elves of Ashes, a people hardened by fire and survival. From youth, he dreamed of grandeur for his race. To spark his vision, he set the grasslands ablaze, a fire so vast it could be seen for days.
  The flames drew the attention of the Red Dragon Empire, who struck back with a brutal preemptive assault, massacring civilians. For Daelorn, this was opportunity. The people, desperate for a leader, elevated him to general.
  At first, he fought with brilliance, winning campaigns and securing victories. His popularity soared. But when the Draconnians struck the elven capital, Daelorn demanded more power, blaming the council’s rationing of resources for the disaster. Slowly, year by year, he consolidated authority, until he ruled with absolute power.
  Under his regime, the Elves of Ashes expanded farther than ever before. But conquest reshaped them. They enslaved the Draconnians, then the northern dwarves, until slavery became the foundation of their society. Pride turned to arrogance, and they came to see themselves as the dominant race of Almilir.
  One day, Daelorn vanished. It was later revealed that he had ascended, becoming the minor god of Conquest and Persuasion.
 
  Ascension
  Daelorn’s charisma and vision had transformed his people, for better and worse. His ability to persuade, to ignite pride and ambition, was as powerful as his armies. In death, this dual gift of sword and tongue elevated him to godhood.
  Now, Daelorn is worshipped by conquerors, tyrants, and demagogues. He embodies the fire that consumes lands and the voice that convinces nations to follow.
