  Mortal History
Caelbar was a simple soldier, exemplary by day, yet consumed by an irrational fear of the night. Courageous and disciplined under the sun, he became cowardly and trembling as soon as darkness fell. To survive, he devised a potion that put him to sleep at dusk and woke him only at dawn. Thus he lived for years without ever facing his nocturnal terrors.
But one night, while he slept, he was captured by beast‑men pirates and taken to the southern hemisphere. There, he experienced an endless summer, where the sun never set. He was an exemplary prisoner, working tirelessly on the ship’s deck. But when winter came, and with it the eternal nights, his fear transformed into an uncontrollable force.
At night, he became a furious beast, attacking anyone who approached. The pirates tried to kill him, but he was too strong, too unpredictable. At last, he escaped his cell and spread terror across the ship. The beast‑men, terrified, threw themselves into the sea to escape him. When day returned, Caelbar found himself sole master of the vessel.
Lost at sea, he survived for years thanks to his discipline: fishing, distilling new potions, and organizing his life around the cycle of the sun. He even invented a draught that allowed him to remain awake as long as the day shone, sleeping in a single block during the endless nights. Sailors who crossed his ship claimed it was haunted: by day, a silent man worked without rest; by night, a monstrous shadow prowled the deck.
  Divine Ascension
At his death, the tales of his strange existence spread far and wide. To sailors, he became a symbol of discipline and survival. To soldiers, a model of rigor and self‑mastery. His legend grew until the fervor of mortals raised him to the rank of a minor god.
Now, Caelbar embodies the strength of the day and the discipline of the mind. His faithful say he watches over those who struggle against their fears, reminding them that rigor and constancy can transform weakness into power.
