Gigant puffball

A mushroom found in a variety of places during the warm seasons from under trees to in shaded areas of fields,.The gigant puffball is the even larger variant to regular puffball mushrooms however the gigant puffballs are poisonous, where both regular and gigant puffballs seem similar with large white puffy textures the gigant puffballs explode into a poof of spores which when inhaled by a creature can severely damage them, with long lasting effects. The danger of inhaling is serious as one will slowly begin to feel heightening pain in their throat down into their lungs, if not treated in anyway the creature will begin coughing up blood and phlegm, all around not a great time. Though not particularly fatal unless the creature is weak the gigant puffball can cause long term health issues due to the spores growing within the creatures lungs, these will eventually die off after several weeks however the damage will stay persistent and typically never fully heals leaving the creature with a terribly painful cough.  

Crafting/Uses

  Due to spores spreading apon any kind of impact/incision gigant puffballs aren't used for any crafting, though a gentle hand may be able to collect them for throwing in combat, this causes many risks of both sides being harmed in the small spore explosions. There may be custom equipment/ potions craftable out there however they certainly aren't common or known and would use alot of skill and concentration to pull off.
