Backstory: Growing up there were always stares, rumors, and hateful comments toward Elysian and his mother in their small village. As a small child, he would hear whispers and talk of the elven father who abandoned his unwed and pregnant mother. Despite this prejudice, his childhood was filled with music, laughter, and art of all kinds. Everything was perfect happiness until his mother fell sick when he was 11. There was not one person his village that could or would help the outcast mother and her son. Upon her death and since becoming an orphan, Elysian took to the streets to borrow, barter and steal whatever he could for the sake of surviving and promised revenge. It would be 5 years until a captain of a pirate ship making port would take notice of the troubled, angry young man and bring him along for a new adventure. Appearance: With dark, tanned skin and ebony hair, Elysian takes from the appearance of his beloved human mother. However, his pointed ears and amber eyes were inherited by the elven father he never knew. But his arrogant, cocky smirk and careless swagger was a consequence of a harsh upbringing as a pickpocket orphan and pirate. Scars, both faded and new, freckle his skin in declaration of survival against adversity. Despite such a rugged appearance, his sharp features are often painted with a mischievous, sarcastic, or humored expression.
